A much larger slate of games for tonight, 10 total games (excluding the weird 6PM PHI/WSH Game). Milwaukee hosts Detroit and holds the highest spread of the night with a whopping 11.5 favored to the Bucks. Boston travels to Cleveland and holds the smallest margin of victory with only a 1.5 point spread given to a team who allowed a newly acquired Donovan Mitchell to drop 41 points. With every single game tonight expected to be around the 220 total point mark, there will be plenty of points to be spread around to not only the lineup locks, but many value plays for tonight.
POINT GUARD
Trae Young ($9,900) - Something about Trae playing the Knicks just feels right. Young has put up extraordinary numbers against the Knicks throughout his career, and although I cannot prove that he will have a career night I can place him in my starting lineup. Trae is ranking in the top 10 league wide in PPG (29) while also managing to assist nearly 10 times a night (9.7). "Ice Trae" also ranks 6th in the league in usage rate, which makes him a clear lineup lock for tonight.
*VALUE*
Immanuel Quickley ($4,300) - Quickley has been an average player ever since he entered the league. Average however is never a bad thing when it comes to DFS, since he can provide you with the scoring boost that you may need on a nightly basis. Quickley is the go to man coming off the bench and although he doesn't score points in abundance, he does hold a 32% assist rate which is good for 3rd on the team. Look for Quickley to provide the much needed assists to keep the pest Hawks away tonight.
SHOOTING GUARD
Demar DeRozan ($8,500) - One of the best dunking guards in the league and an unstoppable force within the mid-range, the 12 year NBA vet has still proven to be one of the best players in the league. With the Bulls playing the second leg of a back-to-back that means Zach Lavine (Questionable) might need the extra rest for his knee. Look for DeRozan to continue his scoring ability (25.1 PPG) for a team that is quite banged up and tired.
*VALUE*
Anfernee Simons ($7,600) - With no Damian Lillard, and Josh Hart being questionable, the Portland offense will shift their concentration on feeding Simons the ball for tonight. Simons has covered well for Lillard throughout these past couple games, securing the 2nd highest usage rate on the team as well as playing 35+ minutes. For the salary, Simons can easily produce the same numbers as many of the players listed at $8,000+.
SMALL FORWARD
LeBron James ($10,900) - One of the highest priced players on the slate tonight, LeBron will look to carry a disappointing Los Angeles team to victory. However New Orleans ranks 1st in points per game league wide which only promotes more shooting for the 37 year old. LeBron is averaging 25 PPG, 8 TRB, 7 AST a game which might need to be relied on tonight with the Pelicans coming to town.
*VALUE*
Jalen McDaniels ($4,600) - Not nearly as the same production as LeBron, but this young role player can easily surpass his price listed >$5,000. Jalen has accounted for 30.4% of the team's 3 point makes only while playing 24 minutes a game. To credit this hopeful production, Charlotte is still without LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier who are some of the leading scorers on this team.
POWER FORWARD
Zion Williamson ($8,700) - The former 1st overall pick is still looking for his time to shine even after being in the league for 4 years. Zion seems to be fitting in playing for New Orleans, posting a team leading usage rate (28.9%) while also averaging 21 PPG and 8 REB. No Brandon Ingram tonight present the perfect opportunity for Williamson to run this high scoring offense aside CJ McCollum.
*VALUE*
P.J Washington ($5,700) - The Hornets have looked to not only stay in games, but also win even without their two top scorers (Ball & Rozier) and Washington has embraced this request perfectly. P.J. is 3rd on the team in 3-point make percentage. Not only can the talented forward shoot, he is a complete workhorse placing 2nd in total minutes played for the year.
CENTER
Jusuf Nurkic ($7,500) - The 6'11" big body center has played a key factor in making sure the Trailblazers are able to rebound the ball. Nurkic accounts for 40.1% of team rebounds all while playing 28+ minutes a night. If that isn't enough to lock him in your lineup then I don't know what is.
*VALUE*
Isaiah Hartenstein ($4,200) - With over a $3,000 difference from Nurkic, Hartenstein is a great option if you've used most of the salary on big name players. Hartenstein is playing behind Mitchell Robinson in New York, but still ranks higher than him in total minutes played. Isaiah also carries a 66.7% team block %, which simply means 2 out of 3 blocks made by the Knicks are credited to him. For a low end center >$5,000, Hartenstein can easily give you some value due to his blocking ability.
